Free update for owners of original and also a new stand alone retail version. This follows the same trend that for example the popular fast stunt racing game Trackmania did. They released a big update for free to owners of original TM united and also a new retail version for the TM united forever update. This is great for gamers. Hopefully more devs/publishers have ba11s to do this.

Version 1.5 of The Witcher makes the game DRM free; it can now be played
without the disc and there are five added adventures created by The Witcher community.
